How we verify businesses
Every business on Yabino is checked by a real person on our team before it goes live.
We want the businesses you find on Yabino to be real and accurately described. Here's exactly what that means — and what it doesn't.
Manual review, every time
Whether a listing is added by Yabino or submitted by a business owner, it stays hidden from search and pending until someone on our team looks it over. If we reject a listing, the owner sees why and can fix it and resubmit. When an owner claims an existing listing, that claim goes through the same manual review before ownership changes hands.
What this does — and doesn't — mean
What we check: that the listing looks like a genuine business with accurate, usable information — a real name, address, category and working contact details — and, for claims, that the person requesting access is plausibly connected to that business.
What we don't check: we do not verify trade licenses, business registration numbers, or any other official government or legal record. Appearing on Yabino, or carrying the "Verified" badge, confirms our own review process — it is not legal proof that a business is registered or licensed, and not an endorsement of its quality or service.
The "Verified" badge
A listing is marked "Verified" once someone has successfully claimed it and our team has confirmed they are genuinely connected to that business. It tells you the listing is actively managed by the business itself, not that we've confirmed its legal status.
